Tomorrow I'm going back to the east coast. Ah, New York City. And then, I'm going to Middlebury, to their Italian language school program. I wish I had the chance on Friday to go see Fahrenheit 9/11, but between driving from New York to Connecticut, and then to Middlebury, I don't know if I'll have the time, let alone if there's a theatre on the way that is playing it. That's something to think about then...

I've been thinking alot about Michael Moore and the Iraqi "conflict" lately...well, that's not exactly true. I've been thinking about the Iraq since Bush decided that it would behoove him to invade the country. But recently, since I've been in Phoenix really, I've been getting into "discussions" (really, arguments) with my parents and my best friend (a Republican, but I love her anyway ) about the validity of many decisions that President Bush has made during his term. Being the consummate hippy that I am, I do not believe that Bush went into Iraq for humanitarian reasons. That's the view that was spun to the American public, of course, but I don't see that being the real reason.

It's interesting to me to see random discussions going on on boards and livejournals (cuz really, a livejournal is like a board). This discussion and this discussion, however, are two of my favourites.
